The Self Driving Challenge 2022 was won by the student team from Zwolle. The Windesheim team was seven corners ahead of the Groningen team and took the coveted title. The aim of the challenge was to have a self-driving vehicle race flawlessly over the entire track, or as far as possible in the fastest time.
There has been a lot of discussion recently about the huge amount of software that is present in a modern day car. Some sources claim that a single vehicle might have close to 100 million lines of software code (Approximately 18,000 printed pages)! If so, who is writing all this code!?
