As a Functional Safety Intern/Thesis Student you are responsible for defining and implementing advanced procedures for safety-related automotive engineering projects. You initiate, supervise and execute the assignment on advanced topics of functional safety in the automotive domain
You pioneer advance development concepts using state-of-art methodologies to develop safe products
You lead the optimization of existing processes in development of safety critical products
You define the safety concepts of advanced automotive systems in the areas of autonomous driving, electric driving and V2X/X2V communications
You provide solutions to enhance the safety culture of automotive organizations;
You define groundbreaking testing and validation procedures for safety critical products
Bachelor (master) education (preferably Automotive, Embedded systems or Mechanical Engineering);
Basic working knowledge of automotive concepts (powertrain, chassis, body systems)
Course knowledge on systems engineering, software, or electrical/electronics engineering;
Affinity with Automotive or special vehicles;
Excellent command of the English language (word and writing);
You are self-reliant and accurate, you have good communication skills and you have an analytical mind;
