Functional safety internship/graduation thesis

As a Functional Safety Intern/Thesis Student you are responsible for defining and implementing advanced procedures for safety-related automotive engineering projects. You initiate, supervise and execute the assignment on advanced topics of functional safety in the automotive domain

• You pioneer advance development concepts using state-of-art methodologies to develop safe products
• You lead the optimization of existing processes in development of safety critical products
• You define the safety concepts of advanced automotive systems in the areas of autonomous driving, electric driving and V2X/X2V communications
• You provide solutions to enhance the safety culture of automotive organizations;
• You define groundbreaking testing and validation procedures for safety critical products

your profile

• Bachelor (master) education (preferably Automotive, Embedded systems or Mechanical Engineering);
• Basic working knowledge of automotive concepts (powertrain, chassis, body systems)
• Course knowledge on systems engineering, software, or electrical/electronics engineering;
• Affinity with Automotive or special vehicles;
• Excellent command of the English language (word and writing);
• You are self-reliant and accurate, you have good communication skills and you have an analytical mind;
• In addition, you are a flexible team player and you can also appreciate some fun and humor in the workplace.
